I just wanted to say a big thank you to all of those people who took the trouble to go out and vote on the 6th May. I am delighted to have been elected as your MP for Sherwood and am looking forward to working hard on your behalf.
The level of support I received is very humbling, and I am enormously grateful to all of those who put up posters delivered leaflets, knocked on doors and all the other tasks so many of you helped with. I am in the process of sourcing my constituency office, which will be in Hucknall, but we will retain a presence in Calverton and I will run surgeries throughout Sherwood. In the mean time feel free to contact me if I can assist, and I will respond as quickly as I can. I am keen to continue meeting as many people as possible so if you are arranging a function or meeting please let me know and if my diary allows I will be there.
