Meeting with Forever Stars Charity
I had the pleasure of meeting the organisers from Forever Stars on Friday. They're a wonderful charity who have done so much to help those parents who have suffered stillbirth. Thanks to their successful campaign, there is now a bereavement room at Queen's Medical Centre, and they've set their sights on City Hospital to help secure the same facility there. I'm also happy to voice my support for their proposal to have a bereavement officer for Nottinghamshire so that affected families can get the support they need at a tragic time in their lives. With Baby Loss Awareness Week coming up next week, I'll be meeting them in Parliament too.
